Care & Maintenance
We recommend cleaning your jewelry often. If your jewelry is not cleaned regularly, it will end up looking dull instead of brilliant. Dirt, oils and product residue can lodge itself into diamonds and metals. Even a slight film can alter light reflection. To keep your jewelry shining brilliantly, you do not have to use a jeweler each time. You can easily clean your jewelry at home using the following steps.
Step 1: Fill a small bowl with lukewarm water, then add a drop of mild dish soap and stir. Do not use chlorine-based cleaners, which could react negatively with the metal on your jewelry.
Step 2: Place your jewelry in the soapy mixture for approximately 10 minutes, to break down oil and grime.
Step 3: Remove your jewelry from the water, and clean it with a soft bristled brush. Very gently brush each side, especially the edges, grooves and backs.
Step 4: Set your jewelry back in the soapy water, continuing to brush to wash off any loosened dirt and grime.
Step 5: Rinse your jewelry with warm running water. And please remember to plug the drain first!
Step 6: Use a lint-free cloth or hair dryer to dry. Letting it air dry could cause visible water spot stains.
REMEMBER: Avoid using bleaches and other abrasive chemicals to clean your jewelry. You could damage the metal and finish.
Always remove your jewelry when performing activities that could scratch, impact or catch and pull on your piece.
